Ask Questions By Shelby, Krishna, Jordan And Jade
Ask Question
-Will Jonas remember to take his pills every day?
-What would Jonas's job be?
-Why do kids get assigned to families?
-Why are people not allowed to have feelings ?
People are not allowed to have feelings because if someone falls ion love with someone else they will want to marry them. When it comes time to get assigned a spouse then they might not get the person they fell in love with. If this happens a group of people will protest against this rule.

Prediction of The Giver
We predict that Jonas will get the job of memory keeper and that being a memory keeper means that he can see into the past to what it was like before the community got so strict. He will see all of the wars that happened and why the community got so strict. We think this because Jonas is different than everyone else and he deserves a job of high honour.

Example of Introductory Paragraph
Introduction
The Internet is a wonderful tool that I use every day for both school, work and fun. I can't imagine not being able to simply "Google" something if I want to learn about it, Skyping with my Grandma on Saturday mornings or chatting with my friends online. We even use the Internet in our class with our classroom Blog, "Five-Six-Wonders". Even though the Internet is a great tool, you still have to be very careful. Many problems can happen if you are not prepared, or if you don't follow the rules of safety and "netiquette," which is etiquette on the Internet. I've learned a lot about using the Internet in a safe manner in class, and so I can give good advice to my friends.

The Mice That Ruined My Dream
Chapter 7 Imprisoned
It was weird that they didn't pick twigs off my front lawn they went to the woods.
I was dying to know the answer so I put on my boots and went followed the tracks. Down the street, past the fence and into the entrance of the woods. I went in a few feet and again they disappeared. I kept on going and heard squeaking. I started to army crawl. The sound got louder and louder. I went farther and saw a tiny watch tower in front of a bush. Inside of it was a mouse with some kind army uniform on. The mouse caught sight of me in a nano second and threw a pebble at my fore head.
I got so scared that I booked it back to my house and tore every twig that came in my way.
I looked all entrances. I sat on my couch. I sat as still as a rock. Hours went went by, I fell asleep.
I was back in my dream car. I sold my house and bought a mansion. It was five stories high. It had a voice activated lock, all windows were tinted and the house it self was made out of gold.
I went inside, it was fantastic, golden toilets, glass cabinets and a humongous bedroom on the fifth floor. I jumped on the bed and felt like someone wiped me. I woke up.
I was surrounded by mice kicking me and wiping me. I was in like a miniature version of Toronto. I kidnapped from my house. This one mouse spoke, he said" you think you can trap our lord, his wife".
I was put in their largest buildings. It was one thousand mouse stories high. It was of hard brick. I wondered where and they got the tanks the bricks and even tar. That didn't matter, all that mattered to me was that I was Imprisoned by tiny mice.

Utopia/dystopia
My utopia is a perfect place where all the children are happy and flowers fill the grass. The streets are clean, kites fill the sky and the children are playing baseball in the fields. The fun never ends. Families even watch the sun set together
My dystopia is a place where misery never ends. Smoke fills The sky and all you can hear is screaming and shouting. Every second there is a crime, all the stores are closed, garbage fills the streets and you will never see a kite in the sky or a child in the feilds.

Utopia And Dystopia
My depiction of a utopia consists of very bright, happy things, everything is growing and surviving. There are no wars or even arguments; for that matter; there is no pollution and always flowers.
My depiction of a dystopia consists of a black, dark, frightening sky; broken, abandoned houses. People are in the street, dead and plenty of pollution in the air. Nothing plant-like can survive so there are no flowers in the area.

Christmas Vacation By Destiny and Shelby
We are finally at Cuba, that seemed way longer than 2 and a half hours. " See mom I knew Zander would be so annoying" I said. " At least Zander stopped crying, it bugged him a lot when his ears were popping." I am really just happy that we are here so I can get some rest from hearing Zander cry.
